Who is Sarah?

I am an artist and designer based on the Gold Coast, on the east coast of Australia, a beautiful coastal city full of vibrance and sunshine!   I have recently returned after 2 years living and working in Byron Bay.   My artworks can be found in private collections through Australia, England, Canada and Switzerland.  I have also worked in the fashion industry for many years with some of Australia’s best brands.  My designs have featured in fashion and music magazines across Australia and New Zealand and worn by musicians and actors in music videos and tv shows.

I have a strong following for my nude artworks which have seen pieces travel across the world to Europe and North America as well as to at home in Australia.  I have also started to once again explore works of animals and portraits, something I haven’t done for many years – with great results and am now mixing this in with the nudes, fashion and typography to create some new artworks that are starting to really create the vision I have been developing for many years.

I love contradiction.  Simple, yet complicated, cheeky yet shy, innocent yet provocative.  I’m a big romantic, a day dreamer. My works are at times also a contradiction.  They are of the innocent girl of my childhood combined with the strong passionate woman I am now.  I wants my creations to show such purity and harmony yet such bold rawness at the same time.

I am such a passionate, romantic person and being an artist allows me to express who I am and the world that inspires me.  I believe life is about daydreaming – about the dreams, the imperfections, the unknown, and the pure delight in each day.  About exploring our passions.  Through my creations my life becomes one big daydream – a daydream I can share with the world
